There’s a pivotal moment in every woman’s healing journey, the point where you get to choose the trajectory of your health, your energy, and your life.
Two paths. One choice.
Today’s Hot Hormone Tip is a little different. It’s not about a nutrient or a food or a symptom. It’s about something even more foundational.
It’s about the trajectory you’re currently on.
Because right now, you’re either on the path to thriving or you’re on the path to just surviving. And most of us don’t even realize which one we’re on until someone points it out.
The two trajectories
The survival path is the one we default to. It’s the one we know. It’s the one that feels familiar. And it looks like this:
Hoping things might be better someday. Coping with how we feel. Managing life instead of living it. Getting by.
If those words are coming up for you,“I hope this gets better.” “I’m just getting by.” “Here we go again.” — then you may be in stuck survival mode.
That’s not wellness, gorgeous. That’s hard. And it’s exhausting.
The thriving path feels completely different. When we are well, really well, life is possible. It feels good. We’re optimistic. We can achieve beautiful things. We feel like ourselves again.
The good news? You’re already becoming aware of what thriving looks like. You’re here. You’re reading this. You’re gaining more awareness of what it means to feel well. And maybe you’re starting to notice some really special changes in your body already.
The pivotal moment
And it’s at this intersection, the space between surviving and thriving, that you get to choose.
Are you going to stay on the path of thriving and continue making choices that support you? Or are you going to default back to your old survival skills, coping, managing, hoping and stay feeling the same or worse?
You get to decide. That’s the point.
It’s a choice.
It’s not a once-a-day decision
Here’s what I want every woman to hear.
Choosing yourself isn’t a choice you make once a month. It’s not even a choice you make once a day. It’s a choice you make all day long.
Every moment, you’re deciding. Are you coping and managing and hoping? Or are you choosing? Deciding? Making a conscious choice on behalf of yourself?
That choosing, on behalf of yourself, feels so good. It changes everything.
The language of stuck vs. the language of thriving
If you want to know which trajectory you’re on, listen to how you talk to yourself.
The language of surviving sounds like:
— “Here we go again.”
— “I’m just getting by.”
— “I hope this gets better.”
— “I’m managing.”
— “I’m coping.”
The language of thriving sounds like:
— “I’m choosing this for me.”
— “I’m deciding what’s right for my body.”
— “I’m trusting the process.”
— “I’m allowing better health to come.”
— “I’m moving toward my potential.”
Same day. Same body. Two completely different trajectories.

What happens when you finally choose you
Here’s what we all know, when you feel so much better, everything around you gets better too.
Your relationships improve. Your marriage or partnership deepens. You love your kids more. Your kids love you more. Your grandkids see the spark back in your eyes. People in your community notice that you’re lit up again.
Because when you thrive, everyone around you thrives too.
That’s what choosing yourself makes possible.
Your invitation
Ask yourself today, what’s one thing I’m choosing for myself?
Maybe it’s choosing health. Maybe it’s choosing yourself over an obligation (which is a really low place to be, obligation). Maybe it’s choosing love, which is a much higher vibration and feels so much better.
Whatever it is, name it. Own it. Choose it.
Because your healthy journey to thriving isn’t built on one big decision. It’s built on the small, daily choices you make on behalf of yourself.
Small steps. Big change.
Key takeaways
— You are always on one of two trajectories: surviving or thriving
— Survival mode sounds like coping, managing, hoping, “just getting by”
— Thriving mode sounds like choosing, deciding, trusting, allowing
— This choice isn’t once a day, it’s all day long
— When you thrive, the people around you thrive too
You don’t have to walk this alone
Choosing yourself is easier when you have women walking with you, women who understand where you’ve been and where you’re going.
