Green Smoothie Girl

Here is my latest twist on my favorite breakfast, the smoothie.
It’s a great way to get your green-smoothieveggies in to keep you flexible, regular, and to nourish your beautiful skin.


1 cup liquid (coconut milk/water/small amt 100% fruit juice/unsweetened almond milk)
1 tbls ground flax seed (optional)
1/3 apple
1/2 – 1 small zucchini cut into chunks
handful of chopped kale/cucumber (for warmer weather)
1/3 – 1/2 small avocado
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks or other berries
Protein powder (click here for what I use)

Throw everything in a blender except protein powder and blend until smooth. Add protein powder and blend for a few seconds. A very cold smoothie is not the best for digestion so add some hot water if needed to warm it up a little. (Adjust ingredients to make the consistency and texture how you like it.) Enjoy!
