Spicy Apple Cider – Yum for the holidays!

A traditional holiday beverage full of beneficial spices and nutritious apples.

4 cups fresh organic apple juice

½ tsp clovesSpicy Apple Cider

5 slices fresh ginger

1/2T black peppercorns

½ tsp chili pepper flakes

2 cinnamon sticks

¼ tsp each cinnamon, cardamon, garam masala, nutmeg

  1. In a medium pot add the cloves, ginger, peppercorns and chili flakes to the apple juice and bring to a boil. Turn down to low and let simmer for about ½ hour.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and heat up until desired temperature is reached.
